As before we shall be performing a huge variety of numbers packed into 50 minutes, ranging from our trademark of new political numbers set to familiar tunes, sketches and maybe even a Scots recitation. We will also be singing some familiar oldies, and oldies that are not familiar at all but thanks to Murray Campbell’s arrangements are seeing the light of day for the first time in many years. As always we have some real musical experts providing accompaniments, and we have terrific guest artistes on the vocals.
The Two Moronnies present a Tea-Time show at Carlops Church beginning at 3.00 pm. Teas and home-baking will be served. Murray Campbell will be providing the accompaniments as well as many of the arrangements, and Tim and Les will be joined by the lovely voice of Annie Patch. Entry free – a retiring collection will be made on behalf of Carlops Village Hall and Instinctively Wild, a Borders based organization that puts children and disadvantaged people in touch with nature.
